Our first Monday on the farm was amazing š
The element we are focussing on this term is Fire š„
We cooked a delicious vegetable curry on the campfire this afternoon. We spoke about the 3 components that make a fire and also what wildlife to look out for before setting up a fire. Our young people helped prepare the vegetables to go in the curry. Everyone had warm chapatis with the curry which was very yummy.
This week we will be talking about where wildfires happen around the world and how they happen. We will also be making hedgehogs out of pine cones and creating some colourful fire slime as a sensory activity!āŗļø
