It’s Mother’s Day on Sunday and our young people have been busy making wonderful gifts for their amazing mums. Each person has taken home a gift bag filled with cheese scones, regular scones, a jar of homemade jam and clotted cream and a hand decorated keyring. Everyone has also decorated a ceramic wellie and planted some beautiful flowers in them. Some young people also completed a Mother’s Day quiz, learning about the history of the day and how it is celebrated around the world.
Our young people ended this sunny day by playing some group teamwork games, such as pairing up and competing to see which pair could make a shape the fastest with their bodies. Another fun game involved a race to see who could find a random item the fastest, this was very entertaining!
